Goat Milk Soap
Each batch of our goat milk soap is hand made from all natural ingredients starting with fresh milk from our Saanen dairy goats!
Our unscented soaps and face bars are poured into silicone molds at light trace and are left in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours before un-molding, when they are transferred to a wire rack to allow adequate air-flow while curing for 6-8 weeks.
Our creative soaps (those with scents and color) are hand cut and poured into 2 lb silicone molds and placed in the freezer for an hour before transferring to a refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Two days after unmolding, these bars are hand cut, then placed on a wire rack to complete the curing process.
Like a fine wine, soap gets better as it ages. Most soaps need 4 or more weeks to cure, or to complete the saponification process, during which fats, water, and lye turn into soap. The longer it sits, the harder and milder it will become.

Tell your story with one of our barn quilts! Whether it's a quilt with your favorite design or flower, a reminder of someone special, or a quilt to show off your patriotism - we can create it for you!
Barn quilts have a rich history dating back as far as the 1800s. Painting symbols on barns originated from traditional folk art passed along from the German and Swiss immigrants who settled the Pennsylvania Dutch region in southeastern Pennsylvania. These groups included Lutherans, Moravians, Mennonites and other Christian reformists. Living on family farms and in communities, they would paint small patterns on their barns to celebrate their heritage and bring good luck. Originally these patterns were simple stars and patterns from traditional folk art.
Here at Acker Farm, we are preserving this history by using quality products to provide vivid, long-lasting, hand-painted barn quilts that will last indoors or out. All of our quilts are painted on high-quality plywood using Duramax paint and ready for hanging. Barn quilts come in 2' x 2', 4' x 4' or 8' x 8'. Custom colors are available.
Barn quilt prices start at $125. Give us a call to customize your quilt and receive pricing!
